Camden Computing Services hires students to fill part-time positions as consultants, support staff and technical assistants at various times throughout the year. Hiring for Help Desk, which has the most positions, is typically done during the spring semester.

The department is not currently accepting applications for student positions.

General Qualifications

To be considered for a part-time student position, a student must be currently enrolled at Rutgers-Camden. Help Desk consultants may be any major as long as they have solid fundamental computer skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a positive attitude. Other characteristics the department looks for include ambition, enthusiasm, initiative and professionalism.

More specific skills may be required, depending upon the position.
