ADA INFORMATION
SOFTWARE & EQUIPMENT:
Dragon Naturally Speaking Preferred Software, v.3 with Corel with WP8 Suite, located in
Robeson Library, first floor (room TBA)
-Voice Recognition software (Continuous Speech Recognition)
-Customer can dictate to a pc instead of type in the information
-Keyboard, Headphones, etc. can be obtained at the 1st Floor Reference Desk
Windows Software (all installed) have built in "Accessibility Options" capabilities
Visually Impaired:
-Enlarges pc print/screen to assist visually impaired
Hearing Impaired:
-Visual Warnings for Windows Sounds are part of Windows 2000 Software
-Generates a visual warning when the system would normally sound.
-It can also give a caption for speech and sounds made.
Headphones:
- Available for customer use (customers are strongly encouraged to bring their own).
- Available in rooms 108, 109, 110, 132 in the Business & Science Building, obtained from the Consultant.
- Available in the Campus Center Basement Lab, obtained from the Consultant.
Other equipment and software, not mentioned on this list, may be obtained/borrowed from other OIT departments within the University, providing the requested item is in OIT inventory of ADA equipment and software.

- Room 109 & Room 132, Business & Science Building
- Campus Center Basement Lab
