Camden Computing Services works to keep the Rutgers community informed of its services. Information may be found on message boards around campus, in weekly REACT announcements, in the Gleaner newspaper, on Twitter and on this site.
News
The department publishes three main types of news online:
- System Alerts: priority information about system outages, both scheduled downtime for maintenance and service disruptions related to emergencies or severe weather conditions.
- Featured News: top news stories about new services or major changes in systems, facilities, hours and more.
- News & Notes: general news, reminders and information about the department and IT at Rutgers.

Publications
An electronic newsletter is sent out to the community twice a year, and monthly statistics for many systems are posted online. In addition to its electronic publications, OIT-Camden produces guides to Rutgers IT services for students, faculty and staff.
System Statistics and Reports
Camden Computing Services keeps a variety of statistics on lab usage, malware, print queue management, enhanced classrooms, web stats and more. Most stats are posted monthly.
The department also prepares reports. The annual reports include hardware inventories, software catalogs, usage stats and other information. In addition, it posts the results of its services survey.
